REOPENING THE FUN CENTER

Grand Island Fun Center understands the concerns of our guests regarding safety at our facility, and in response we put together a task force to not only adhere to all state and CDC guidelines, but to go above an beyond any best practices. At this time, all of our attractions are open to provide entertainment to our local community.

Below are changes to our facility that will ensure a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff.

We are currently in Phase 1 of our reopening

Includes: Mini-Golf, Batting Cages, Go Karts and a full snack bar.

Mini-Golf:

  • We strongly recommend bringing your own putter to play. We do have clubs and balls, which will be sanitized between uses.

  • Masks must be worn when entering the building through the checkout process for those over the age of 2.

  • Groups must stay at least one hole between groups, maintaining social distancing throughout your game. Up to 6 people in the same family who arrived together can play together

  • Scorecards and pencils will be single-use, to be disposed of after your game.

  • Hand Sanitizer stations have been added throughout the facility and at the start and end of the mini golf course

Batting Cages:

  • We strongly recommend bringing your own baseball bats and helmets. We do have bats and helmets, which will be sanitized between uses.

  • Maintain social distancing of 6 feet apart outside of the cages, as well as allowing no more than one person inside the cages.

Go Karts:

  • Mask are required while in the line and while riding the attraction

  • We created a new line system with 10 ft apart from other groups and added more benches and tables to sit while you wait at an appropriate social distance

  • Groups can wait together as long as they arrived together and are immediate family

  • We will only be running 10 karts on the track at a time to allow for social distancing

  • Double karts will be allowed as long as both riders are from the same family

  • Hand sanitizer stations have been added to the go kart pit

  • Every go kart will be sanitized in between each use with enhanced cleaning to pit areas with

Outdoor Laser Tag:

  • Limiting capacity to 33% and only allowing 12 players in our 7000 sq/foot outdoor arena

  • Arena props have been turned off so nothing is shared or touched in the arena

  • Hand sanitizer is required before all customers enter the arena

  • Lasertag guns are cleaned after each session

  • Sessions will be shorter in time to ensure proper cleaning is done between matches

Within Our Facility:

  • A MASK IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE BUILDING. Our employees will be wearing them for you.

However, once outside we ask that you maintain social distancing of 6 feet,

wearing a mask when that cannot be accomplished.

  • Social Distancing Markers will be placed 10 feet apart where any lines are to be formed (at our front counters).

More Practices for Your Safety:

- Prior to each shift all employees will fill out a COVID screening form.

-All employees have gone through enhanced cleaning training to ensure top cleaning procedures.

- All employees will wear masks throughout their entire shift.

- Extra cleaning procedures are in place to sanitize our facility and materials used by customers and using hospital grade cleaning supplies.

-We will be operating at 33% of our capacity so we are only allowing 100 people in the facility at a time, so we recommend coming on weekdays during slow times
